Freycinet National Park or Maria Island

Both of these idyllic destinations are less than an hour’s drive from Southerlys. Wineglass Bay is a must see if visiting Freycinet and has been rated one of the top beaches of the world. The view of the white sand and turquoise waters of the bay on a clear day is something to behold.

If you aren’t up for the walk up to the lookout, then maybe a scenic flight or hopping on the Wineglass Bay cruise will be more your style.  There are numerous walking trails and places to visit in the park including a 3-day circuit of the park for the more adventurous. Head south from Swansea to Triabunna and get on a ferry to Maria Island with its magnificent scenery, wildlife and historic sites.
